    Delivery Information

    We offer delivery in Bristol, Bath & the surrounding areas. To see our delivery rates click here.

    Delivery Vehicle

    • Standard Delivery is carried out using our own fleet of Mercedes Sprinter flatbed trucks.
    • Our delivery truck dimensions are approximately: 2.5m (8’3”) wide X 2.5m (8’3”) high X 7.0m (23’) long.
    • Weight fully loaded is 3500 kg.
    • The truck is two wheel drive, not designed for off-road.

    Delivery Time & Date

    • Typical delivery lead time is 3-5 working days. If you require the materials sooner, or on a specific date please call or email us to check we are able to deliver on your requested date.
    • All orders for stocked items must be delivered within 2 weeks of order.
    • After you have placed your order we will contact you to confirm delivery date. This will usually be by text message (SMS).
    • Timed delivery slots are not possible as loading and unloading timber and timber products is hard work and can sometimes take longer than expected. Traffic and roadworks also have a significant impact on timings.
    • Our delivery driver will call you on the provided site contact phone number approximately 30 - 60 minutes before delivery. The driver will confirm that vehicle access at the delivery address is suitable and that assistance to unload is available. If the driver is unable to confirm these details, the delivery may need to be rescheduled.

    Access

    • It is the responsibility of the person ordering the delivery to ensure there is suitable access at the delivery address.
    • Our delivery service provides ‘truck-side’ delivery; the delivered goods will be unloaded by the side of the truck.
    • For insurance reasons, the delivery driver is not permitted to carry goods away from the vehicle to another location.
    • If roadside parking is the only option available, please ensure that there is suitable parking for our vehicle and space for goods to be unloaded.
    • If you would like goods delivered via an access lane, please ensure the lane is large enough for our vehicle & note this in the special instructions box in the checkout process.
    • If the delivery driver feels that access is unsuitable for their vehicle, they reserve the right to choose a more suitable location to unload.

    Assistance

    • It is the responsibility of the person ordering the delivery to ensure there is a suitably fit person available to assist with unloading.
    • If you are unable to provide assistance, please contact us so that we can provide a drivers mate at cost.
    • If the delivery driver arrives and assistance is not available, they may need to redeliver your order another time.

    • If lifting equipment is available on site then please let us know in the special instructions so that we can palletise your order.

    Shortages / Damage

    • When your order arrives please check that the products and quantities are correct and damage free.
    • Any problems or discrepancies must be raised with our office 0117 9674382 / info@bendreybros.co.uk within 72 hours of delivery, after this period we are unable to accept any claims for missing or damaged items.

    Order Amendment / Cancellation

    • Order cancellation & amendments should be made at least 24 hours prior to delivery date.  Changes to your order may impact the delivery date.

    Returns / Collections

    • We are able to collect unused, unwanted items providing the product is in resalable condition. This excludes products that have been cut, made or ordered specifically for you. For full details please refer to our returns policy
    • Returned goods are subject to a collection charge.
    • All of the previously mentioned details relating to Vehicle, Time, Access and Assistance also apply to collections.

    Chargeable Services

    • Drivers mate to assist truck-side delivery. For insurance reasons, our staff are not permitted to carry goods away from the vehicle to another location.
    • Redelivery, due to problems with access or unloading assistance.
    • Collection of goods to be returned.
    • Time taken if the driver is unduly delayed on site due to access or unloading assistance.
