Ground Control Fabric

This tough geotextile, woven fabric successfully meets the demands of soft and hard landscaping.
Groundtex works above ground as a heavy duty weed barrier. It has excellent strength and tear resistance, and can also be used below ground as a stabilising and separating geotextile in groundwork and civil engineering applications.

Groundtex can be used beneath Type 1 aggregate, sharp / angular stone and gravel, including areas subject to pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

Permatex is a strong, flat-woven geotextile manufactured from fibrillated polypropylene tapes. Its permeable, tear-resistant construction makes it suitable for a wide range of landscaping, groundwork and construction applications, including ground separation, weed control and stabilisation beneath aggregates.

- Available in a 2m x 25m roll
- Easy to transport: folded in half so the roll is only 1m tall when stood on end
- Suitable for weed control and ground separation
- Allows air and liquid to pass through while helping prevent aggregates and mulch from being lost into the subsoil
- Suitable beneath Type 1, aggregate, block paving, decking, garden paths and paved areas
- Suitable for use under a whacker plate or vibrating roller
- Can be used for road construction, earthworks, foundations, retaining structures and erosion control
- Suitable for equestrian surfaces, root protection and cellular confinement systems
- Can be left uncovered, with a life expectancy of up to 25 years when covered with mulch
- Black fabric with blue lines for easy identification
