This hook to screw has a 19mm pin to fit a standard field gate hinge, to a timber gate post. The pin has a hole at the top to fit a small bolt to stop the gate being lifted off the hinge. The 18x190mm screw thread enables the fitter to easily adjust the length of the hook in order to make the gate plumb, which is ideal if re-using old posts that have moved over time. A pilot hole must be drilled to avoid splitting the post. Galvanised to prevent rust.

Perfect for hanging garden gates or shed doors, these medium tee hinges are painted black.
As a general rule we recommend using hinges that cover half the width of the gate/door.
