Galvanised monkey tail bolt, can be used for securing the bottom of a door/gate into the ground or the top into the door frame.

Perfect for hanging garden gates or shed doors, these medium tee hinges are galvanised for corrosion resistance.
As a general rule we recommend using hinges that cover half the width of the gate/door.

Pack includes 2 hinges (1 pair). All fixings are included.

The use of drop bolts is recommended on most gate installations as it helps to prevent the gate from twisting at the bottom.
The bolt can also be used to hold the gate open if required.

The 3048mm (10') Somerfield gate is a great value, traditional style of 5 bar wooden gate. It has a strong morticed and tenoned construction, a tapered top rail which is stronger and heavier at the hanging end, tapering down to a lighter swinging end. It is made with joinery grade treated softwood and has a planed finish. The Somerfield gate is equally at home in a field, a garden, or at the end of a driveway as a single gate or as part of a pair.
