A hot-dip galvanised sliding gate bolt designed for animal enclosures. The bolt mechanism can only be operated with two hands when opening, it automatically locks when closed. Animals such as pigs, goats, sheep, horses etc. are unable to operate the bolt, the metal casing around the mechanism prevents curious animals accidentally opening the bolt.

A heavy-duty galvanised double strap bottom band, for hanging a 75mm thick five bar gate.
An M10 x 100mm carriage bolt should be fitted through the slot of this fitting and through the hanging stile of the gate. The slot allows plenty of adjustment to level the gate.

The 1219mm (4') Somerset Gate is a premium quality, traditional style of 5 bar wooden gate. It has a strong morticed and tenoned construction, a tapered top rail which is stronger and heavier at the hanging end, tapering down to a lighter swinging end. This gate has a premium finish; it is made with joinery grade treated softwood, a planed finish, stop chamfered edges and hardwood dowels. The Somerset Gate is perfect for a garden, or a driveway as a single or as part of a pair.
