Available in Iroko (hardwood) & softwood, Cotswold Gates make an impressive entrance.
Iroko is an African hardwood renowned for its durability & stability, the softwood is a slow grown Scandinavian kiln dried softwood. Both should be treated with wood preservative & a treatment of choice.
Made to order using a strong, morticed & tenoned construction, Cotswold Gates are made to measure up to 9' (2.743m) wide & 8' (2.438m) high per gate.
Please notify us if the gates are to be automated as they must be made with a heavy duty bottom rail.
The stiles on the Cotswold Gate can be made rounded, pointed, sculptured or weathered. They can also be rebated so that the gates close against each other.

Cranked Striker
A Cranked Striker is designed to be fitted to the swinging end of a wooden five bar gate. It connects into a self-locking gate catch (fitted to the gate post). The striker is bolted though the wooden gate stile, the built-in spiked washer ensures a secure fit.
