These IRWIN® HSS Pro Drill Bits are made from high-performance, high-speed steel. They have a 118° split point shape for increased performance and very good centring. The drill bits ensure precision starting, with no need to pre-punch or pilot drill. They penetrate the material quickly, requiring little effort and feed pressure.

Manufactured to DIN 338 standards. DIN 338 drill bits are suitable for many trade and industrial applications in alloyed and unalloyed steel, non-ferrous metal, cast iron and plastics.

The Irwin Long Series Blue Groove 4X Flat Bits have a patented groove point, and cutting edge designed to cut and not scrape the timber 4 times faster than standard flat bits. The parabolic scoop optimises control and removal of wood chips.

Increased relief angle from 12° to 17°. The shank is 400mm in length and 10% larger in diameter for added durability.

Irwin Brad Point Drill Bits are specially designed for precision wood drilling, ideal for furniture and cabinet making. The centre point is for easy start up and the spurred cutting head is designed to reduce splintering and ensure smooth clean holes.

The body is fully hardened for maximum wear resistance. They also have wide flutes which provide a fast, continuous flow of chips.
