Manufactured in pressure treated softwood or in untreated Iroko (hardwood) to the highest standards, the Estate Gate makes an impressive entrance.
Estate Gates can be made to order with special height & widths typically taking 3 - 4 weeks. If you intend to automate the gate, a reinforced bottom rail can be supplied for added strength and rigidity.

Estate gates are handed - L/H means that the gate is hung on the left hand side (as you look in from the outside of the property).

Please note that all Estate gates should be fitted with:
• 1x adjustable hinge set per gate
• 1x drop bolt per gate
• 1x gate catch per gate OR
• 1x throw over gate loop per pair

The Babington gate is a good quality treated softwood feather-edge pedestrian gate that will suit all budgets. It has a strong mortice and tenoned, frame ledged and braced design with sturdy feather-edge cladding. This gate doesn't have capping; there isn’t a top or bottom; the gate can be turned to match the direction of feather-edge fencing if needed.

Available painted black or hot dip galvanised to ensure resistance to corrosion & rust, these hook & band hinges are ideal for hanging heavy duty gates & doors.
The crank allows the gate to sit flush with the post if hanging on the front or the back of the post.

As a general rule we recommend using hinges that cover half the width of the gate/door.
Fixings sold separately.

Heavy duty gate hinges for hanging gates, shed doors etc. Cups are fitted top & bottom which prevents the gate from being lifted off.
