The 2134mm (7') Somerfield gate is a great value, traditional style of 5 bar wooden gate. It has a strong morticed and tenoned construction, a tapered top rail which is stronger and heavier at the hanging end, tapering down to a lighter swinging end. It is made with joinery grade treated softwood and has a planed finish. The Somerfield gate is equally at home in a field, a garden, or at the end of a driveway as part of a pair.

This 19mm hook to bolt is used for hanging field gates from a brick pillar without having to secure timber to the pillar first.

This 19mm hook to bolt is normally used for fitting the top part of a standard field gate hinge to a timber gate post. Suitable for posts between 125mm to 200mm. Galvanised to prevent rust.

This hook to screw has a 19mm pin to fit a standard field gate hinge, to a timber gate post. The pin has a hole at the top to fit a small bolt to stop the gate being lifted off the hinge. The 18x190mm screw thread enables the fitter to easily adjust the length of the hook in order to make the gate plumb, which is ideal if re-using old posts that have moved over time. A pilot hole must be drilled to avoid splitting the post. Galvanised to prevent rust.

Typically used for fitting pairs of wooden five bar gates to timber gate posts, the adjustable hook length enables the fitter to easily make sure that the gates line up perfectly in the middle.
